Der Weinberg

Die Trauben stammen aus der exklusiven Einzellage Pago Capellanía, einer 1945 gepflanzten, sechs Hektar großen Parzelle. Sie liegt auf 485 Metern Höhe im höchstgelegenen Teil der Finca Ygay auf kalkhaltigen Tonböden, die dem Wein Struktur verleihen.

A very good impression of the grape. I am learning to love it and will explore more of this. In the nose very ripe apples, pears, marzipan, herbs and a hint of spices like vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate opulent, good acidity and phenolic notes. Very interesting and well worth looking more into. I have enjoyed this tremendously.
