In El Trull, near Lloret de Mar, 10 minute drive from Tossa de mar: lovely up market restaurant. Had lunch in inappropriate clothing, but treated well - ofcourse - really surprised by the old fashioned lovely styling and great meal. minerals citrus peach honey apple. Full taste and fresh wine, did well with the foie gras Catalonia style and pigs trotters😁. Will certainly add some bottles to the cellar!

Beautiful ages O Rosal Rais Baixas white. Aromatic, with notes of saline, minerals, the ocean, plus peach and citrus. Gold in color. Full bodied, round mouthfeel with peach, saline, oceanic notes. Tart finish with orange, lemon, saline. Really a lovely wine. Would pair well with many cuisines!!

More character to this than I had any right to expect. Lemon, lime, fresh apricot, confected green apple, honeydew melon and a touch of really ripe pear. Plus a big hit of salty minerality and a slightly kel-y seaweed thing. Think Albariño but with more complex fruit and a more creamy texture. High acidity, medium- body, medium+ finish.
