My second Spanish Gordello is as many days - although this one is 90% Gordello and 10% Treixadura. From Rafael Palacious, his 2025 Louro is a crisp refreshing white, with vibrant lemon citrus, white peach and green apples, there’s a wonderful precise minerality to the wine, high acidity and lovely balance. So very nice!

Circolo del vino. I bought this excellent Godello after tasting it in Sevilla recently. The 2024 again is a solid Spanish white, aged in used oak foudres and on the fine lees. The subtle oak works well here. Pale lemon. Apple, quince, lemon zest, peach, white blossoms, wet stone, saline, aniseed, vanilla, toast.
