Upon opening, I wasn't sure if it was fully ok, but it took much time to open up and turned out to be great. A very serious take on SB! Age-worthy style. Petrol and rubber, then a smokey, flinty note, followed by lime and grapefruit, sage and rosemary, honey and dried flowers. Very interesting nose. Elegant mouthfeel, great presence, with a high acidity, saline, flinty, herbal and citrussy, nutty and honeyed finish. Better on day 2, a real age-worthy wine, let it breathe. 92 12.5% abv, cork.
