Medium yellow colour. More intensity in its fruit as compared to the organic Verdejo from Marques de Riscal. Lemon, ripe peach lead the fruit. Stuivig. Lee aging is very subtle but apparent, leaving some doughy aromas. The same goes for the wood, leaving some vanilla. All in all, we are not talking about oaky Chardonnay style. The malo, lees and wood are all very subtle, which keeps the style within the borders of Rueda. The 40 y/o vines and wood aging do add more intensity and depth. 18.5 points. Excellent. Nbt
