📊 88/100 I’ve tasted Bobal not so much, so no idea regarding typicality. But this particular wine excited me by its fruit forward bouquet: it gives a lot of notes of blueberry on accompany with red forest berries. And a drop of vanilla polishing the bouquet.

Exotic taste and good deal. Nose offers red cherry with notes of cassis and grass - interesting mix. On the palate there is more cherry raspberry fig eucalyptus mushroom. Overall more tart than acidic, mild tannins, very pleasant unaccompanied. Not clear what the best food pairing would be.

Interesting take on Bobal, in a 100% contemporary, infused, low alc, high acid, super-trendy style 😉👍 Bobal 🍇 from 30-70yo vines on mainly calcareous soils. 10m in foudres. Unfined and unfiltered. Reduced, in a good way, raw red meat and crushed rocks, violet, peony, red cherry, pomegranate. Lightb+, high acid, crisp, m powdery tannins, light funky spritz too, which calmed down on day 2. Acidulous, bright, perfumed to a m(+) finish. I love that style, but* 3.8 12.5% abv, cork.

Medium Ruby color, notes of blackberry pomegranate on the nose, fresh fruitiness with a nice vanilla counterbalance. Some licorice on the palate, with some funk which fades. Medium acidity, quite fresh and juicy without being sweet. Soft tannins, med body.

👀 Med ruby fading to a cherry rim. 👃 Savoury, black olive, balsamic, leather and chocolate with fruity notes of plum, cherry and blueberries and a hit of pepper. 👅 Med-bodied, vibrant acidity with drying chalky tannin. Nice sweet fruit across the palate and finish. Not complex but had enough to hold one's interest. 👍 I really like this but that's because savoury and evident tannin appeal to me. Lots going on for the price, nothing heavy, nose and palate both deliver so can only recommend.

First time trying Bobal and I have to say that for ~13€ this is a decent wine with aromas of sour cherry earthy minerals pepper . On the palate medium body medium+ acidity and smooth tannins.

I bought this one from Calvert Woodley for $19.99. The nose is dominated by pomegranate, black tea and cocoa powder. Similar notes on the palate with the addition of cherry syrup, licorice, blackberry and cranberry. Soft tannins. Sort of velvety finish. Very nice. Cheers!

Interesting grape. Fruity and powerful but also vibrant. Dark in colour, on the palate dominated by cherry, raspberry, a bit of plum. You also get some notes of oak and dark berry marmalade. Fairly priced, interesting grape variety. Lack of structure and depthness but an enjoyable, fruity, vibrant, juicy red wine.
