Blend of 70% tempranillo, 20% grenache, 7% Mazuelo, 3% graciano grapes, aged 22 months in French and American oak, followed by 9 months of bottle aging. Bright ruby red colour with garnet reflections, nose blackberry and blueberry, spices, liquorice. Palate medium-to-full bodied, velvetish, well rounded. Maybe is little bit overrated… but anyway it’s a great typical Rioja, Spanish red with typical tones of French and American 🇺🇸 barrels like is traditional… Deeper black cherry colour, narrow transparent rim and excellent viscosity. 👃 - tobacco, dark chocolate, smoke and dark cherry. 🫦 - earthy, starting some forest floor, coffee, oak and vanilla from toasted American barrels.. Longer, smooth and full bodied finish.. 🙃
