2021 vintage. Well, this vintage certainly warrants early drink. M ruby. No need to long time air. Very pleasant aromas of red fruits, violet, perfume, and a hint of vanilla. M body, M acidity, and M- tannin. Good mid palate, long finish. Not explosive but comfortable to drink. Outstanding.

This from MC's larger Clos de Vougeot vineyard close to the cellar -Près de Cellier. Unlike the Vosne Romanée and Chambolle-Musigny Les Feusselottes this nose is guarded. Fuller bodied showing dark cherry, pomegranate and licorice. A real sweet fruit and savoury contrast. Energetic thanks to deep fresh fruit acidity and firm fruit tannins plus the heft of 80% new oak barrels.
