Winetasting with Club Dionysos. Expressive nose with a light oxidative edge, almonds, a touch of petrol and toast. Ripe yellow orchard fruit, waxy notes, butter and cedar add complexity. On the palate, ripe stone fruit leads, supported by nutty almond bitters and a lively lemon-driven tension. The finish is long and precise, ending with a fresh, zesty grapefruit bitterness. A remarkable improvement compared to previous tastings years ago. This bottle shows balance, energy and depth, marvelous!

Top level white Rioja - great close to the tasting of @Le Vineur - blend of Viura (aka Macabeu) 34% Garnacha 50% Malvasia 16% - those who love white CNdP will love this as well - bee waxy tones vanilla orange peel white flowers red apple freshness - this wine keeps on developing you really want to keep sipping analysing - a mesmering palate - can be paired with some hard cheeses or the sea food Spain is renowned for. Only 8 months of oak which is really modern amd keeps the focus on the fruit side.

My humble contribution to the animal theme. A bottle I got from HK. I think this is drank too young. The group seems to like it. Thank you all. My wine of the night hope I am not biased oops 😬 A funky white wine. Complex nose of fruits, floral and mineral. A bit oxidated. Multiple layers of texture that makes it slightly creamy and almost amber gold in colour. Some hints of vanilla and citrus fruits and honey. Abv 15. I think it can be aged at least 10 years more. What is your experience on it?

Que Bonita... Truly "What a beauty" this Garnacha Blanca wine from Spain Rioja has a amazing bouquet of fresh apple, oak and apricot. In your mouth you get light lemon zest, vanilla, plum and a light salty mineral undertone a great balance between ripeness, acidity and freshness. Heavy and complex body with a medium finish. This great vintage only had 6000 bottles made, but each one is really a master piece.
