20260430 - Quinta Sardonis QS2 2021 glows with a deep, inviting ruby that already hints at trouble. The nose lifts with dark berries, cracked pepper and a sly mineral edge. On the palate it opens briskly, then settles into a supple, juicy stride, its tannins firm yet good‑natured. The finish is long enough to make me grin. I love this wine—less profound than QS, sure, but its vibrant style and sheer value make it irresistible.

A quality Tempranillo made in Sardonia in the Duero Valley on the western edge but just outside the demarcation of RDD. 80% Tinto Fino 13% Cab Sauvignon 7% Petit Verdo 14/12 in Oak Made in a modern style so full flavoured yet super smooth. Velvety layer upon velvety layer. It oozes quality dark fruit and is a top RDD by any other name. Very nice indeed 🍷🍷🍷🍷
