Comparing an Alvarinho and Albariño, this has full mlf, creamier mouthfeel, less mineral forward. Biodynamic, 7K bottles made. “Pai” means father in Galicia. Lemon yellow. Lemon, petrichor, lees, lime zest. M bodied, dry, racy acidity, citrus, nectarines, lime zest with bitterness on the finish, 13% alcohol.

Albariño never gets more complex than a charming and very enjoyable summer wine. With that said this is definitely on of the best ones I’ve tasted. Minerals and green on the nose. Charming and slightly complex palate with both sweet and sour citrus.

Underrated at Vivino, this is a stunning Albariño. So fresh and complete, more depth than an average Albariño. Grapefruit, lime, some apricot, minerality and even a bit smokey. Paired it with pulpo a la Gallega. Amazing wine and good value. Definitely worth a rebuy.

Clear, pale lemon. Clean nose with med + intensity. Aromas of apple, pear, peach, saline & grapefruit. The palate is dry with high acidity and med + alcohol. It has a med + textured body with a long slightly bitter finish. The intensity is pronounced and follows from the nose. Very good quality wine. Has lovely varietal character with a strong bitter streak that adds quite a bit of character. Drinking home, not suitable for ageing.
