Creeping up fast in price but so tasty. Like the love child between Albariño and a citra hops IPA (hazy and all). Lines up with my 2022 notes. Fragrant chamomile flower, lychee, grapefruit (minus any bitterness), orange blossom honey. Sharp palate with a hefty body. Our old friend citra hops, lemon juice. I know it gets better on day two but it’s so tasty on day one I want to polish the bottle (is that a thing?) lovely paired with a perfectly cooked pork tenderloin and healthy things.

(2024) From GALICIA region, Spain. A nice WHITE wine, that I tasted at the producer's stand at a wine fair. Because it was a very brief tasting, I didn't retain enough of it to comment further. 13% ABV.

Quite an interesting and unique Albariño. Unfliltered, so a bit cloudy. Aromas include lemon and lichee fruit. The taste is lemony with some apple and pineapple. It’s distinctly saline which adds backbone to the creamy texture. Definitely worth the try.
