Dieser trockene Rotwein aus der D.O. Ribera del Duero wird vom Weingut Tr3smano reinsortig aus Tempranillo gekeltert. Er zeigt eine intensive kirschrote Farbe, Aromen von roten Früchten und Pfeffer sowie eine ausgewogene Struktur mit weichen Tanninen.

Die Trauben stammen aus ausgewählten Weinbergen in Peñafiel, Roa und Olmedillo auf einer Höhe von 750 bis 850 Metern. Die Böden vereinen Kies- und Sandstrukturen mit Ton- und Kalksteinparzellen, was dem Wein zusätzliche Komplexität verleiht.

Balanced, top drop, as almost always with the Ribera del Duero 👏 14m in second use French oak barrels and 10m in bottles. Rich nose of cassis, red cherry, plum&cinnamon compote, with vanilla and chocolate sauce, liquorice, mint and cigar. Full-bodied, plush and smooth, with plenty of ripe fruit, balanced by a high acidity and a lot of very fine, powdery tannins. It finishes with cigar and cedar, as well as black and green tea notes, maybe a tad vegetal, but oh so satisfying. 90 14.5% abv, cork.

The 2022 Proventus by Tr3smano is a fruit-forward, polished expression of Ribera del Duero, offering an inviting nose of ripe black cherry, blackberry, violet and subtle cedar, complemented by hints of vanilla, sweet spice and a touch of cocoa. The palate is smooth and silky yet beautifully structured, combining generous dark fruit with fresh acidity, refined tannins and well-integrated French oak complemented by a sappy finish.

MST 53 #6 by @[1|4177809|Raf De Leu] This Ribera del Duero offers a delightful finish to this round. After some air, it reveals an opulent nose with dark cherry, raspberry, blackberry, spicy vanilla, pipe tobacco, and chocolate notes. On the palate, it’s smooth yet structured, with the fruit as the main character. The acidity continues to offer freshness, and tannins are nicely integrated. The finish is lively with medium length. Big brother is on my wish list as of now, but also this one I would like to retaste.

MST 53 #6: dark opaque red colour with purplish edges; on the nose swirling red and forest fruit, vanilla, cherry, berries, plum, a touch of clove, undergrowth, forest floor, cacao, hazelnut and spices; the palate is fruit packed, juicy and balanced with a discrete earthy finish in the final; great close to this exceptional MST round; Raf is building a genuine mst reputation!

6th and last wine of MST53 and we conclude with a RdD. Expectations are high and can be (nearly😉) fulfilled: Nice smell of blackberries, cherry, black currant, licorice, black chocolate, violet and raspberry On the palate fruity, but not so fruity as expected and also not so bold as expected, but still velvety with a quite high amount of tannins and m-balsamic acids in an m end This one will develop its potential most likely in a few years,but still an excellent end of series - thanks @[1|4177809|Raf De Leu]🙏

Ripe and open from the start. Dark cherry, plum, some vanilla and sweet spice from the oak. Medium-full, with round, polished tannins and a slightly creamy feel. Acidity is there but not leading, so it leans more on the rich side. Decent finish with a touch of toast. Drinking well now, easy and enjoyable, but not very complex.

Very nice RdD. Does need some airing to open up but then provides a serious red. On avg. younger vines. Fresh overall appearance; deep red and dark fruit tones, some vanilla noted. Med+ tannins, med acidity. Dry and structured, but a bit light as RdD. 3,9*
