Además de sus reconocidos vinos de Fleurie y Moulin-à-Vent, la bodega elabora también referencias de Pouilly-Fuissé, Pouilly-Vinzelles, Mâcon Prissé y Mâcon Verzé, consolidando su prestigio en Borgoña.

Este Pinot Noir procede de viñedos situados en el Beaujolais meridional, en laderas orientadas al este con suelos arcillo-calcáreos próximos a Villefranche-sur-Saône, un entorno especialmente favorable para el cultivo de esta variedad. Songe 2021, a Pinot Noir sourced from Pierre Dorées in southern Beaujolais, bears the Vin de France label due to its origins outside traditional Burgundy. Desjourneys, having honed his craft with icons like Jean-Yves Bizot,Christophe Perrot-Minot and Arnaud Ente, ages this wine in a mix of oak, cement, and glass globes (a trademark of Ente). Redolent Winter

(4.0) Very young at the moment but after few hours super aromatic red fruits with razor sharp acidity like sour pomegranate and underripe plum covered in salt creating savory impression, with earthy background of pepper, cocoa powder, olives. Concentrated and juicy, reductive and lively, needs long aeration and somewhat too young but already deliciously flavorful.

Crazy delicious. The 2020 Songe from Jules Desjourneys is one of the best discoveries I've made in a long time. It's 100% Pinot Noir grown in Beaujolais, which is the reason for its Vin de France status. After the fermentation, the wine ages in a mixture of oak, cement and glass globes (developed by Arnaud Ente). The wine is juicy and fresh on the palate, making one crave the next sip. Not overly complex - but just damn delicious. Highly recommended - but leave some for me. A sure re-buy (already did).

Salty plum, earthy, fermenting cherries, sweat, tight concentration of black cherries cut with pomegranate juice. Chewy and mouth puckering. Complex, multi layered. Accomplished wine.
