Palate of densely woven black fruit, bitter chocolate, morello cherry, sweet spice and herbs. Persistent finish of silky black fruit and peppery tannin. Complex, intense, balanced. Very good.

Not your typical Rioja. Very dark in the glass. Slightly reductive note. Hit of sweet dark fruit straight up on the palette. Very juicy acidity, almost fizzy on the front of the tongue. Smooth with just a touch of peppery tannin to round it off at the end. Enjoyable and surprising.

A lovely young Rioja! Blend of Garnacha, Tempranillo, Viura & Malvasia! It’s described as a modern style of an old style Rioja! A semi carbonic fermentation is used in order to make it more approachable young! Aging for 8m. in 2nd used barique & concrete! Deep purple color & good 👃 with black fruit! Full bodied 👅 with aromas of plum, raspberry, blackberries, beetroot, violet, vanilla & clove! Medium(+) acidity, round tannins & long aftertaste! Although very bold it drinks well young! This very dark coloured Spanish red blend has no fewer than eight varieties in it, some of which contribute to a nose that carries plenty of red fruit, chiefly strawberries. There is also a whiff of cola. On the palate, more cola, plus touches of oak. There’s also more strawberries. This is a far fruitier and lighter drinking wine than either the colour or the ABV would suggest. Really good.
