WHERE...? I've posted other ratings of this vintage and can only find one! Unbelievable... Anyway!! These half bottles are definitely starting to show their age so I figured they need to be "liberated." Right? For the good of the people? 😂 Soft stewed raspberry, boysenberry, and a hint of rhubarb with tertiary notes of tobacco, iron shavings and some cedar all lightly coated in Rioja dust. 93 pts

Of course an excellent wine (given 100p from R Parker) it is medium bodied with quite high acidity at this point. I got heaps of dill and oak in the opening, after around 40 mins it evolves with wet forest floor and mushrooms and then goes on to add layers of potpourri and dried rose petals and red flowers. Amazingly long finish and goes on for minutes in your mouth.

Brigs Xmas Dinner 2025 10 of 15 Only my 2nd Tondonia GR. This 04 was bottled in Nov 18 (14yrs in oak) + released 24. Numbers which won't surprise Heredia followers! 24k bottles released was a larger number than I appreciated though. I found redcurrant, polished wood, (uncooked) chorizo, old leather. Neatly woven in a med body. Beautifully managed at 12.5% ABV. I found myself wanting more finesse + focus - which is puzzling because I’ve tasted this in their 04 Reserva on five occasions 👇
