Marqués De Riscal Reserva 2021 37,5 cl (Media Botella)

Marqués de Riscal Reserva 2021 es un vino tinto emblemático que representa a la perfección la esencia de la D.O.Ca. Rioja y se ha consolidado como uno de los grandes referentes del vino español a nivel mundial. Su prestigio no solo se debe a su historia centenaria, sino también a la consistencia en su calidad y a su frecuente aparición en obras literarias que han rendido homenaje a su excelencia.

Este vino se elabora mayoritariamente con uvas Tempranillo procedentes de viñedos antiguos plantados antes de los años 70, cultivados en los suelos arcillo-calcáreos más destacados de Rioja Alavesa. Gracias a su estructura equilibrada, acidez viva y taninos elegantes, esta variedad se adapta de forma ideal a una prolongada crianza. El coupage incorpora hasta un 10% de uva Graciano, que aporta una mayor frescura y viveza cromática al conjunto.

La fermentación se lleva a cabo a temperatura controlada y con una maceración que no supera los 12 días. Posteriormente, el vino envejece durante 20 meses en barricas de roble americano, respetando el estilo tradicional de Rioja. Tras la crianza en madera, el vino permanece como mínimo un año en botella antes de salir al mercado, lo que refina aún más su carácter.

Marqués de Riscal Reserva 2021 es un excelente acompañante para jamón ibérico, quesos suaves, guisos delicadamente especiados, platos de cuchara, aves, carnes rojas y asados. I see it's been several years since I last had a Marques de Riscal, but it's as lovely as I recall and very well priced. Dry and medium bodied with smooth tannins at just 5 years. Aroma and flavors of dark fruit, red cherry, tobacco, leather, smoke, black pepper, cedar, black licorice. Complex and flavorful.
