Violet color, little rim variation. Strawberries and crushed stones on the nose. Very light on the front palette with flavors of sour cherry, strawberries, hibiscus, lemon, sour orange. High acids and light tannins. This has some variation from the typical Mencia as it is lighter and more feminine. Developed well with air. Very interesting.

Young, light and fruity. Not much body. Not much complexity. Can't imagine it particularly developing, but straightforward and pleasant. Had it with salt and pepper squid for which it was an adequate foil, followed by steak for which it lacked the necessary punch.
