The Nebbiolo grapes come from the Vigneto Garretti vineyard, located in the municipality of Grinzane Cavour. The vines grow at an altitude of 280 meters above sea level, with a southern exposure that ensures optimal ripening on clay-limestone soils of alluvial origin.
Winemaking
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats for 12 days. Subsequently, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages for 22 months in used French oak barrels, followed by an additional 8 months of refinement in the bottle.
