Verdejo: Buy Online with Home Delivery

Verdejo is the white grape of Castile and the most ordered white in Spain’s bars. Here you’ll find young, lees-aged and barrel-fermented Verdejo, delivered in 2–4 working days from Marbella, free from €100.

What Verdejo tastes like

Freshly cut grass, fennel, green apple and stone fruit, with crisp acidity and a gently bitter finish that is its signature. Far from a flaw, that bitterness is what makes Verdejo work so well with food.

Three styles, three moments

Young Verdejo for aperitifs and the terrace. Lees-aged, creamier Verdejo for fish and rice. Barrel-fermented Verdejo, with body and nutty notes, for poultry and cheese. Most comes from Rueda, though other parts of Castile and León also make very interesting Verdejo.

FAQ

Verdejo is more herbal, with that bitter finish; Sauvignon Blanc is more citrusy and tropical. Rueda makes both, and sometimes blends them.
