Continuing on holiday or vacation in this small paradise close to home a delicious verdejo was in order to quell the thirst in this heat 🥵🥂 The previous 2015 vintage I had was rather MEH but this 2021 is stupendous 😋 Lots of fresh pear & apple on the nose, pineapple, cut grass, grapefruit, faint fennel & a wet stone/limestone minerality. Fresh palate that again is very fruity with a pronounced citrus tang. Crisp crunchy acidity, more slaty minerality & a dry slightly thin finish. Under €5 so 3.7🌟
