Garnacha: Buy Online with Home Delivery

Garnacha was born in north-eastern Spain and went on to conquer the Mediterranean. Few grapes give such different styles: fresh rosés, light mountain reds and great old-vine wines. Delivered in 2–4 working days from Marbella, free from €100.

From the Sierra de Gredos to Priorat

High in Gredos it makes pale, floral, almost translucent reds. In Navarre, Spain’s benchmark rosés. In Priorat and Montsant, on slate, deep mineral reds from century-old vines. And in Terra Alta its white form, Garnacha Blanca, makes broad, Mediterranean whites.

Garnacha and Grenache

In France it is called Grenache and is the base of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and the reds of the southern Rhône, usually blended with Syrah and Mourvèdre. Comparing a Gredos Garnacha with a Châteauneuf is a good way to see how far this grape can go.

FAQ

It depends on the place and the age of the vines: at altitude it is light and fresh; in warm areas with old vines, powerful and concentrated.
