- Soil / Altitude: Clay-limestone
- Ageing / Cellaring potential: 12 months in oak, 18-20 months on fine lees
The vineyard
The grapes are sourced from old vines aged between 55 and 65 years, cultivated using sustainable practices. These vines grow on the region's classic clay-limestone soils, which impart a distinct mineral character to the wine.
Winemaking
Following malolactic fermentation, the wine spends 18 to 20 months on its fine lees to build texture. It is then aged for 12 months in selected oak barrels to enhance its complexity and structure.
