Alvear Solera Cream Tía Sabina
A sweet wine from D.O. Montilla-Moriles crafted by the historic Alvear winery from Pedro Ximénez grapes. It features a golden amber color and deep aromas of dried fruits, caramel, and fine wood, leading to a silky, balanced palate.
Key facts

- Winery: Alvear
- Ageing / Cellaring potential: Solera (over 23 years)
The vineyard
The grapes are grown in the D.O. Montilla-Moriles region in southern Spain. The warm climate and local soils provide the ideal conditions for achieving high sugar concentration in the Pedro Ximénez variety.
Winemaking
Aged in American oak casks using the traditional criaderas and soleras system. An old oloroso aged for over 20 years is blended with sweet Pedro Ximénez, followed by an additional three years of joint ageing.
