Yellow chrysanthemum and caramelized lemon. Slightly oxidative, yet fresh at the same time. Ripe and intense on the palate, with sweet fruit and good acidity in balance. Some developed honeyed characters, very much in the style of an aged Riesling. Very interesting white. A Gran Vino de Rueda, 100% Verdejo >40yo old vine. Spontaneous fermentation and aged in 500l barrel for 22 months.

Tasted at the winery, pours dark straw yellow with oak, lime and green apple on the nose. On the tongue it is light oak, high acidity, notes of pear,green apple and lime. Layered and complex with a lingering lime, slightly tannic finish! And interesting wine!
