The vineyard

The grapes come from organic vineyards in Saint-Just-sur-Dive, cultivated ecologically since 2003. The vines, aged between 5 and 80 years, grow in harmony with the natural ecosystem of the region.

Really great Chenin. Ripping acid, complex combination of citrus fruits, honey, and some subtle hazelnut. On the nose the wine shows pineapple, melon, and wet grass. Long, lingering finish. Overall it’s a great intersection of a crisp, fruit forward white and a floral, aromatic white.

Wine Pairing Option for Dinner at Chapter, Hanoi Enjoyed this Loire Chenin Blanc that is light and elegant with notes of lemon, pear, slate and a whole lot of minerals. Precise one that has aging potential. Will be happy to hunt for it (or other Loire Chenins) when I’m home.

Exploring Middle Loire. This is a fantastic chenin. Saumar blanc 12.5%. Linear taut yet has creamy ways too ( lots of less time) Gochujang sauce topped salmon with coconut rice. Perfect pairing. Flinty , mineral. Tons of citrus charm with a lime shine. Moments of peach enrich the palate. So refreshing. Has such a mineral buzz as it finishes. My adventures will continue. Great producer. Beautiful! Immediate aromas of lemon and limestone. Lovely crispness and tension throughout. Honeysuckle, citrus, yellow apple and superb chalk minerality. Excellent acidity! Would absolutely love to drink more.
