The vineyard
The Chardonnay grapes are sourced from 45-year-old vines located in the high-altitude southern part of the Puligny-Montrachet commune. The clay-limestone soils are stony and rich, benefiting from a southeast exposure that ensures balanced ripening.
Winemaking
Following a manual harvest, the juice ferments with indigenous yeasts in French oak barrels. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages for 18 months on its fine lees without batonnage, before being bottled according to the lunar calendar.
