Mauro Veglio Barolo 2021 is an elegant dry red wine made from 100% Nebbiolo by the renowned Mauro Veglio winery, under the prestigious Barolo DOCG designation in Piedmont, Italy. This family-owned producer, with deep roots in La Morra, is known for creating wines that combine the winemaking traditions of the Langhe with a refined, contemporary style.

The 2021 vintage offers an elegant and balanced expression of Nebbiolo, characterised by its aromatic complexity and harmonious structure without excessive concentration. Its profile combines rich fruit flavours with delicate floral, earthy and spicy nuances, reflecting the distinctive character of this prestigious wine region.

Vinification begins with skin maceration in stainless steel tanks, followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentation under controlled conditions. The wine is subsequently aged for 24 months in French oak barrels, approximately 15% of which are new. Production of this vintage amounted to approximately 30,000 bottles, resulting in a Barolo of distinctive character, elegance and excellent potential for further development in the bottle.
