The vineyard
The grapes are sourced from selected plots in Villafranca del Bierzo and Valtuille de Arriba, situated at an altitude of 650 meters. The poor soils, consisting of sand, decomposed slate, and alluvial pebbles, contribute to the wine's mineral complexity.

Following a 12-hour cold skin maceration to enhance its aromatic profile, the wine undergoes fermentation in 500-liter oak casks. It is then aged on its fine lees for 10 months to develop body and structure.
