The vineyard
The grapes originate from Finca El Puntido, a unique 25-hectare vineyard situated at an altitude of 600 meters in Laguardia. Planted in 1975 on clay-limestone soils, it is cultivated using integrated farming practices, limiting yields to achieve greater concentration.
Winemaking
Following destemming, the must undergoes a cold pre-fermentative maceration for four days. Both malolactic fermentation and the subsequent 16-month aging process take place in French oak barrels, lending structure and complexity to the wine.
