Typical Primitivo from California - called Zinfandel :) Wine is very easy to drink, quite strong 13,5%, but still feels pretty decent. Typical dark ruby color, blackberry, currant nose tones, I can recommend it to more fatty pork meat or beef, grilled steak for an example. Personally, I like this type of wine especially in colder autumn / winter months, it reminds me the sun & the summer. Very affordable, good price - performance ratio.

I like this taste with strong aroma and taste for plum, cherries, dark chocolate, oak and vanilla. Body is very strong, glycerine in glass, dark red cor like sour cherries. Not too strong tanins, anyway mainly fruity notes and visible chocolate. Label also interest with ballet or circus artist lady.

Really enjoyable wine. Dry and acidic on the palate. You’re hit with dark chocolate, and dark fruit notes right on the nose that’s followed by possible hints of bell pepper. There are strong acidic and tart flavors from fruit such as cherry, black currant, and a bit of blackberry on the palate. Really fun and juxtapositional pairing with boeuf bourguignon.

Not my favourite Zilfandel,but enjoyable. Quite smooth and easy with a mild sour zing. Some sweetness, but fairly balanced. Taste notes have some red berries, maybe cherry, but also blackberry and black currant,some spices like cinnamon but also with some metallic side taste, iron or rust. Could have more depth, now feels somehow lacking, as if missing something.

Solid every day wine with oak, dark fruit, leather and smoke. It has a sweet vanilla touch and it gets better after a few hours. In the beginning the taste was a bit too earthy for me, but that's probably because I was trying it with fish (my mistake). It's great with beef and on its own.
