Delivery terms

What you need to know about deliveries from Solo Wine:

Delivery Zones

  • Málaga, Marbella and the Costa del Sol — delivered by our own courier;

  • Mainland Spain — handled by a courier service;

  • Balearic and Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla — delivery on request. Write to us and we'll arrange a carrier;

  • EU countries — delivery on request, minimum 12 bottles per order.

Lead times

Orders placed before 2 p.m. on a working day leave the warehouse the same day.

  • Malaga and Marbella — next working day;
  • mainland Spain — 2–4 working days;
  • the islands — 5–7 working days.

Over public holidays and in the week before Christmas add a day or two. We say so in the order confirmation, not after the fact.

Cost

The cost is calculated in the cart and depends on the address and the weight of the order.

  • Orders of €100 or more within mainland Spain — delivery is free;

  • Orders below €100 within mainland Spain — €9;

  • Balearic and Canary Islands — delivery available upon request;

  • EU countries — delivery available upon request, with the cost calculated individually;

  • Switzerland — delivery available upon request, with the cost and conditions confirmed individually.

Receiving the order

Wine is handed over to an adult recipient only. The courier may ask for ID and refuse to hand over the order if the recipient is under 18 or intoxicated: the order returns to the warehouse and redelivery is charged separately.

If you are not at the address, the courier will call the number from the order and offer another slot. A parcel waits at the pickup point for 5 working days and then comes back to us.

Packaging and keeping the wine safe

Every bottle travels in its own foam cell; the box is taped and marked as fragile.

In summer, when the daytime temperature is above 30 °C, we add a thermal liner. If the weather makes shipping unsafe, we will warn you and suggest postponing: heat damages wine irreversibly, and waiting two days beats receiving a ruined bottle.

If something is wrong with the order

Inspect the box on delivery. If you see leaks, a dent or breakage, do not simply refuse the parcel: note the damage on the courier's waybill, so the claim against the carrier holds up.

Write to us within 48 hours and attach photos of the box and the bottle. We will replace damaged wine or refund it. An unopened bottle can be returned within 14 days if it was stored properly.
