The vineyard
The grapes originate from selected plots in Toro, Villabuena del Puente, and Valdefinjas, situated at altitudes between 750 and 850 meters. The vineyards range from 45 to over 100 years old, cultivated using environmentally respectful agricultural practices.
Winemaking
Following manual harvesting and double selection, the destemmed grapes undergo fermentation and a 19-day maceration with daily punching down. Afterwards, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages for 20 months in new French oak barrels.
