The Valencian Community is the land of Monastrell, Moscatel and Merseguera. D.O. Valencia produces fresh whites from Merseguera and Moscatel, reds from Monastrell and Garnacha Tintorera, and Moscatel de Valencia, a sweet wine with centuries of history. D.O. Alicante is the home of Monastrell: full-bodied reds and Fondillón, a long-aged wine unlike any other in the world.
