From Franklins restaurant in East Dulwich. It was my birthday yesterday so we booked ourselves in to a local restaurant. I went with the Cured duck breast & kohlrabi remoulade and Shoulder of lamb, chickpeas, carrots & parsnips as a main. The wine paired rather well to the food. The acidity was on the medium(+) side. good length. Stone fruit notes with citrus. A nice wine. £43 though. It's not worth that much.

100% Albariño from Spain's Salnes Valley (hence the name Salneval I presume). This is definitely a QPR winner from Lidl. Translucent bright lemon/lime in colour with fresh nose of white blossom, lime and seaspray. Dry, lovely acidity with medium body and 12.5% abv. On the lively, fresh palate flavours of unripe stone fruit, lemon and lime with good minerality and a long saline finish.
