The vineyard
The grapes originate from the Finca La Veguilla vineyard, located in San Vicente de la Sonsierra. This site is characterized by clay-limestone soils with fine gravel on the surface. Since 1975, biodynamic practices and organic fertilizers have been used to ensure low yields of high concentration.
Winemaking
The production process involves manual destemming berry by berry and fermentation in small oak vats with traditional treading. This is followed by malolactic fermentation and 24 months of aging in new French oak barrels.
