The vineyard
The vineyards are located in Castellina in Chianti at an altitude of 250 to 350 meters above sea level. The vines grow on clay-limestone and sandstone soils with south and southeast exposure, managed under sustainable viticulture practices.
Winemaking
Following a manual harvest, the grapes undergo a 20-day maceration in cement and stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for four years in used French and American oak barrels, followed by an additional six months of bottle refinement.
