The vineyard
The grapes originate from vineyards in Castellina in Chianti, situated at an altitude of 250 to 350 meters. The plots feature south and southeast exposure, on marly limestone and sandstone soils that provide structure to the vines.
Winemaking
Following a manual harvest, the must undergoes a 20-day maceration in concrete and steel tanks. The wine matures for 30 months in tanks and oak casks, followed by an additional year of bottle aging before release.
