Les Horées Aganippe Bourgogne Blanc Sans Millésime es un vino blanco seco exclusivo, elaborado con uvas Chardonnay en la reconocida región de Borgoña, Francia. Este vino destaca por ser el resultado del trabajo apasionado de Catherina Sadde, una enóloga con experiencia en bodegas legendarias como Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Domaine Marquis d’Angerville y Domaine Cécile Tremblay. Actualmente dirige el proyecto Les Horées junto a su esposo Guilhem, apostando por una viticultura biodinámica certificada y un profundo respeto por el terroir.

Este Bourgogne Blanc sin añada es el resultado de una cuidada combinación de las cosechas 2022 y 2023, lo que le confiere elegancia, frescura y una energía singular. Procedente de un viñedo de apenas 1,3 hectáreas, cultivado sin productos químicos y con intervención mínima en bodega, expresa con fidelidad la pureza de la variedad y el carácter del suelo.

Nose of white flowers, honey, vanilla and green apple. Palate was similar. This was very light and buoyant, giving the impression of mountain air in spring time. It was really enjoyable and very clearly the result of good wine making. I’d be curious to try the reds as I feel the skill in maintaining delicacy with intensity of flavor will lend itself well to red. But this was priced close to retail at the restaurant we went to and while good for a restaurant price I’m not sure I’d want to pay that as retail for it.

Developing lemon peel notes and the floral and citrus aromatics keep evolving too. Minerality and saline, 30 sec finish. Lightly buttery and all the better for it with such a crescendo of density on the mid palate as this picks up air and warms up a little. Exquisite! Rear label says L07-BL2324 thus likely from a blend of 2023 and 2024. Thanks KT for so generously and thoughtfully sharing these 2 specially curated bottles from back of your cellar! A nice and gentle Bourgogne Blanc, blend of 2022 and 2023 vintages, yet not worthing the ridiculous hype. It shows a light to medium body with a delicate, soft texture and a finely zesty profile front end. Silky, with a bright midpalate delivering flavors of spring meadow flowers, pomegranate, mango, herbs and slight vanilla bean, it flows in a subtly tangy and bitterish ending, quietly driven by green-citrus-flavored acids. Defined exotic nose with mango, guava, honey, pomegranate, meadow herbs and almond milk.

Catherina blended her 22 aganippe with a large part of vintage 23 as well to retain freshness and acidity. Felt very tight and linear. A more taut, stony, dry and acid driven Bourgogne Blanc that I had expected from her. Lots of lemon/lime, creamy pear/Apple, cream, assorted spices. Good mid palate density, super balance and very long. I enjoyed it a lot.

Hard to believe that I found this bottle. Despite being just a Bourgogne blanc, this is a weighty complex wine that would benefit from some aeration. Initially quite tight showing notes of apple cream lemon peel minerals, and eventually some very ripe fruit profiles (such as pineapple).
