The vineyard
The grapes originate from a 4.5-hectare vineyard with vines averaging over 50 years of age. The soil, composed of clay, silt, and abundant limestone over a rocky subsoil, ensures excellent drainage, while the sloped terrain offers optimal sun exposure for perfect ripening.
Winemaking
Following whole-berry fermentation in open oak vats, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages on its lees in French oak barrels for 18 to 24 months, bottled without fining or filtration.
