The vineyard
The grapes are sourced from Pago Cacheiro, a single vineyard planted in 1965 in the heart of the Salnés Valley. The granitic soils with a sandy top layer provide the wine with its distinctive mineral profile and freshness.

After manual harvesting, the must ferments and ages for 12 months in 3,000-liter French oak vats, spending three of those months on its lees. The wine is then refined for another 18 months in concrete tanks to polish its structure.
