Great Puilly-Fumé and really enjoyable white to be paired with flavorful seafood dishes.

Once you taste that flinty character, it’s hard to forget the sensation it leaves at the back of the throat, along with the gentle smokiness that lingers on the palate. During a blind tasting, this signature immediately pointed me toward Pouilly-Fumé. on the nose aromas of grapefruit and lime, apple and pear, grass, and white peach, alongside notes of honey, wet stone, and, of course, flint. the palate follows the same, wine is dry with high acidity and a round, slightly creamy texture due to sur lie.

What a gem 💎 this Baron de L from Ladoucette is — easily one of the Loire’s finest Sauvignon Blancs, if you ask me. Elegance and finesse shaking hands with flavour and complexity! It’s only made in top vintages and in tiny amounts, which makes it even more of a treat. The nose bursts with smoke, peppers, gooseberries and grapefruit. On the palate: tremendous power, almost full-bodied, beautifully aromatic, and a long, satisfying finish. Truly remarkable!
