Medium(+) aroma intensity, ripe black cherry, blackberry, licorice, developing with meaty notes. Dry, medium(+) acidity, medium tannins, medium(+) alcohol and medium(+) body. Similar intensity on the palate too, blackberry, baked black cherry, some spices and earth; medium finish. Very good Q, ready to drink, a food-friendly everyday red overall.

The waiter recommended this wine during a trip to Zahara de los Atunes. Ended up asking for a number of glasses. Very enjoyable with food, right amount of acidity and tannins. Have to strongly recommend as I ended up asking for a bottle after the first glass. At retail of 10€ a bottle I think it is a great buy and shows that other regions in Spain, like Cadiz, are producing exceptional wines. Reminded me of Somontano wines.

Second wine of the evening on Saturday and paired this wine with pizza 🍕 as stated on the advice tips. Matches well and enhances the experience. Dark bold wine which sits very elegant and dark purple on the glass. Long legs and would have been better to allow to breathe for longer. Shiraz and tintilla de rota grape 🍇 wine from Cadiz arcos de la frontera. Bold earthy on the nose with aromas of red fruit. On the palate bold and hints of cherry raspberry. 🍷🍷🍷🍷
