The vineyard
The grapes come from centenarian vineyards over 80 years old, located in the municipality of Pedrosa de Duero. These clayey and stony soils of low fertility, combined with the altitude of the area, limit the yield of the vines to achieve a high concentration of aromas and flavors.
Winemaking
Following a manual and selective harvest in small boxes, fermentation is carried out under strict control. Subsequently, the wine is aged for 14 months in 225-liter extra-fine grain French oak barrels.
