The vineyard
The grapes originate from a three-hectare vineyard planted in 1903 in Cárdenas, located at an altitude of 580 meters. The old vines grow in iron-clay soils with abundant stones, resulting in very low yields and natural concentration.

Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in a mix of used French oak barrels, clay amphorae, and concrete eggs. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months in oak and concrete before being bottled unfiltered.
