The vineyard
The Tempranillo grapes originate from Finca La Nieta, a 1.75-hectare vineyard planted in 1975 at an altitude of 525 meters. The soil consists of clay-loam over a sandstone subsoil, cultivated using biodynamic viticulture practices.
Winemaking
Following a manual harvest, fermentation takes place in 10-hectoliter oak vats with traditional treading. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages for 16 months in new French oak barrels.
