Deep dark ruby. The bouquet displays ripe plums, wild blueberries, and sweet cherries, tightly intertwined with nuances of black tea, licorice, and fine cedarwood. On the palate, it starts with a smooth, unctuous texture, turning medium-to-full-bodied and robust. Youthfully fresh acidity balances the muscular core, leading into tight, still distinctly gripping tannins. The finish is structured and savory. With a solid, Bordeaux-like acid frame, further bottle aging is beneficial to smoothly melt its youthful grip.

Deep red color; nice fruit and floral fragrance. On palate, dark cherry and plum, with some cocoa and a hint of cassis. 2/3 Monastrell (Mourvèdre) and 1/3 Cab Sauvignon, both relatively older vines. Good value.

Long time favourite from Jumilla. From a magnum opened 2 hours in advance, no decant. 70% Monastrell (old vines) and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for 23 months in new French and American oak,  While young it presented very well. Soft toasted fruit, easy drinking, blackberry, plum, cassis, cocoa, vanilla, and sweet spice. The palate is dense and velvety, ripe polished tannins, med complexity, long and lush

Alta Gama 2026. Clio rarely disappoints. The first impression is an explosion of blueberries, blackberry compote, licorice and espresso, followed by hints of cocoa and Mediterranean herbs. Despite its sheer concentration, the freshness keeps it remarkably balanced, and the tannins are polished to perfection. A bold, opulent wine that somehow never feels tiring, a modern Spanish classic.
