The vineyard
The grapes are sourced from old vines with an average age of 75 years, planted on steep, Roman amphitheater-style terraces. The soils consist of gneiss and light limestone sediments, which contribute to the distinct mineral character and concentration of the fruit.
Winemaking
Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with traditional pumping over, lasting for four weeks. The wine is then aged for 42 months in new oak barrels to develop its complex structure.
