The vineyard
The grapes are sourced from selected old vines in the Rioja region. The harvest is carried out by hand in small 15 kg boxes to ensure the grapes arrive at the winery in optimal condition.
Winemaking
Fermentation takes place in Allier oak vats for 11 days, followed by a 25-day maceration on the skins. The wine is then aged for at least 20 months in new French and American oak barrels before bottling.
