The vineyard
The grapes are sourced from three old Tempranillo vineyards located in Laguardia. These plots feature silt-clay soils over a limestone base, with low yields that naturally concentrate the flavors in the berries.
Winemaking
Harvested by hand, the grapes undergo double selection. Following cold maceration, fermentation takes place in open oak vats with manual punching down, followed by 16 months of aging in French oak barrels.
